Viburnum general information

Includes over 150 species of evergreen and deciduous shrubs and small trees. Most are grown for their foliage and flowers. The deciduous species are known for their autumn colours. Mainly white flowers.

Soil Type: Most require deep, fertile and moist soil that drains.
Position: Fully hardy and can grow in sun or semi-shade.
Maintenance: Thin out overgrown plants by cutting out some of the older shoots after flowering.

AGM = The Royal Horticultural Society's Award of General Merit given to plants of outstanding excellence.

A very popular large evergreen shrub of dense bushy habit with large dark green glossy oval leaves. White, pink budded flowers appear continuously from late autumn to spring. Berries produced are metallic blue and then turn black. Height and spread 3m (10ft).

Compact evergreen bushy shrub with smaller leaves than tinus. Pretty carmine buds and pink tinged flattened heads of small star shaped flowers. Flowering in winter and early spring followed by blue berries.
