Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS) Compliant

The range of products shown below are compliant with SUDS where the hard surface is formed out of porous material. This allows for proper drainage down the soil profile into subsoil. There is no run-off into surface drains therefore reducing the risk of flash flooding, which has become a major problem in recent years.

Since October 2008 planning has been required for front drives and many other hard standing areas unless it is made of porous material. The Enviropave range of products are constructed out of recycled plastic. They are two main types, both of which come in squares of about 1/4 square metre in size and interlock together. Each square consists of numerous open squares which are infilled with gravel, bark or turf can be grown through it.
