Olearia general information

Known as the daisy bush. Evergreen shrubs grown for their foliage and daisy like flowers. Frost hardy.

Soil Type: Any welll drained soil, ideal for chalk soils.
Position: Frost hardy. Requires sun. Wind resistant.
Maintenance: Cut out dead wood in the spring and remove dead flowerheads.

AGM = The Royal Horticultural Society's Award of General Merit given to plants of outstanding excellence.

Medium sized evergreen dense shrub with small dark green leaves that are white felt underneath. Mid to late summer is smothered with fragrant daisy like flowers. Ideal for hedging. Height and spread up to 1.5m (5ft).

Strong growing medium to large shrub of up to 4m (13ft) or more. Sage green holly like leaves that are silvery-white underneath, can be up to 7cm (3in) long. In early summer have large heads of fragrant white flowers. Ideal for hedging and screening, excellent in coastal areas.
