Mitraria general information

Charming low spreading scrambling evergreen with oval toothed glossy leaves and bright orange-scarlet flowers late spring and through the summer.

Soil Type: Requires acid soils, ideal in peat. Will not grow on shallow soils over chalk.
Position: Needs mild location. Suitable in partial shade but must be in sheletered position.
Maintenance: Tidy up in autumn as necessary.

AGM = The Royal Horticultural Society's Award of General Merit given to plants of outstanding excellence.
