Sun Rose Originated in warmer climate such as Canary Islands and mediterranean regions. They have papery open flowers. Although each individual flower is short lived they are freely produced over a long period of time from early to mid summer.
Soil Type: They like growing on shallow dry soils, including chalk. Do not like to be waterlogged. Position: Will tolerate frosts providing it is not a deep fertile soil. Feeding will make the leaves soft and susceptible to frost. Revels in the sun. Maintenance: Trim back if necessary after flowering. They do not like to be hard pruned
