Box. Range of evergreen shrubs grown for their foliage and habit. Excellent for edging, hedging and topiary. Small insignificant usually white flowers.
Soil Type: Most soil ypes including clay and dry soils. Does not like to be waterlogged. Position: Frost hardy. Sun or semi-shade. Maintenance: Trim hedges in summer. In bushes promote new growth by cutting back stems about 30cm (1ft) in late spring. Contact with sap may irritate the skin.
