Evergreen shade loving shrubs that forms dense rounded shrubs. Variegated leaf forms retain their colour best in the open.
Soil Type: All soils unless waterlogged. Position: Frost hardy. Grows anywhere but variegated forms are better with some sun. Maintenance: Trim to shape at any time of the year. Hard pruning back should be done in spring. To prevent unsightly damage to leaves use secateurs.
